I too get discouraged from time to time, but exercising always clears my mind. She should binge on exercise, meditation, and positive reinforcement. I like to give support to those who need it, but I also need a bit of support for my own weight loss routine.

my best advice would be to work it out… as bad as they hurt you or put u down… make them eat their words .. they want u to fail.. prove them wrong! :) and as far as the emotional part like i said WORK IT OUT :) our haters make us stronger :)

cindy… — ur hair looks the best this wk than any others.. :)

    Lamarie and Cindy:
    What helps me is:
    1. Don’t have the food in the house
    2. “Binge” on sitting down and watching a good movie or chat with a friend when you get home from your job.
    3. Make up your mind that you don’t care what those stupid people at work are doing to you, you will WIN no matter what, and they will be found out. I bet you have good friends at work, so hang with them. Laugh, laugh, laugh — those mean people will be at a loss for words.

There is a peace that i get walking that can only come from exercise. If my partner does not walk with me that day, I use that timer to and pray. When i go back into work, I feel better. i breath better, i take people mess better. I smile more, etc. Try it :-D

    1/ Hi Lamarie,

I used to binge when i was stressed or bored or just angry. I have been praying for years for some help in this area. I went 100% raw in June, it completely cut the craving to binge. Since then i have started eating more and am only about 75% raw now. But that has helped me of years and years of struggling with bingeing. You don’t hurt anybody in the end but yourself, i had to realize that. I also take my break time and lunch time to walk. Rain or shine!

I love this video! I blame my weight gain on stress eating! I agree we need to find alternative ways to deal with our stress!

OMG!! That is what is happening to me!!!! The stress causes me to eat less and makes me gain waayyyy more! Some days I only eat one big meal a day because of stress from work. Thank you so much for these tips. I think the walks would help soo much and upping to several smaller meals a day.

    Hi Cindy & LaMarie,

I think ignoring your haters to the best of your ability is the best thing. Take away their importance in your mind, and don’t give them the time of day. Be professional, but avoid contact if possible. Try to make friends at work, if you have a friendly environment. They will be your advocates. Just work hard and do your best. If they are concretely sabotaging your work, you should alert a supervisor you trust. It’s hard to give advice bc I don’t know your work setting.

Wow Cindy! Only 9 times in 8 months. That is amazing!! I just wanted to say that your hair seems to be getting longer (maybe?) and I think it looks great! I love watching your videos. For LaMarie78, I know what it is like to be an emotional eater. I have heard that journaling your thoughts when you are feeling stressed out might help you. I agree that exercise is a great alternative. Not only will you be burning calories, but you won’t be eating if you are exercising!

LaMarie78 I am so sorry that you are having problems at work. I agree with Cindy’s advice also. I am coping with my dad being very ill and in the hospital and I have gone off my diet because of stress. Aromatherapy helps me: Lavender, Jasmine, Patchouli, Chamomile. Also Tazo has some great teas that help you relax and this helps me too. Good luck and feel free to PM me if you would like. It helps to have friends like Cindy that help you through. (((Hugs)))

Cindy you are an inspiration. Thank you for all your videos. LaMarie78….try something new. Try some new music that you never thought you would like. Take a new route to work. Just change your routine a bit….that will help a lot. Good luck with your journey…you have a friend in Cindy and us. Hugs!

When I get down, I go to my computer or memo board, “Inspiration.” These have photos of friends, family, accomplishments, other inspiration (Obama, Kim Kardashian). Ur coworkers, are acting out of jealousy. When they make comments, take a quick walk (even if its just around the office) & have a look at ur inspiration. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

LaMarie, Cindy gave you great advise, but i would also add to get some really great inspirational music on your ipod and listen to it when you feel stressed. Music can do wonders to your spirit!

Cindy, has there ever been days on your weight lose journey where you lost focus and ate off plan? or have you always stuck to your meal menu?
